Tennis Travels to Florida

Susie Hallquist
The St. Kate's tennis team set out to take advantage of spring break week by competing in the sun and warmth of Florida. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas. Their match against Calvin College on Monday was rained out. Tuesday brought a return to normalcy with the weather, unfortunately that was not enough to help the  team snap their five match losing streak. The Wildcats fell 8-1 to Luther College.

Kasie Rust again picked up a win at #4 singles (4-6, 6-3, 10-7). The sophomore is now 7-1 in singles competition this season.

The Wildcats return to action Wednesday March 25 against North Central College.
